1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the DogStreak application ("App"), you agree to these terms of service ("Terms"). If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the App. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

DogStreak is a mobile application designed for dog owners who are active in dog sports. The app offers features to:

  • Log and track training results and competition results
  • View statistics, graphs and progress over time
  • Manage multiple dogs and careers in different sports
  • Use training tools such as digital clicker, sound tools and calendar
  • Participate in the community and see other users' results
  • View and compare results on leaderboards
  • Lay and follow GPS tracks together with your dog using the tracking tool

3. Account and Registration

3.1 Account Requirements

To use the App, you must create an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Personal Account

Your account is personal and may not be shared with or transferred to other persons. Each user must have their own account. Sharing accounts may result in suspension or permanent removal of the account.

3.4 Accurate Information

You agree to provide truthful, accurate and complete information when registering and to keep this information updated.

4. Free Trial and Subscription

4.1 Free Trial

DogStreak offers a three (3) month free trial for all new users. During the trial period, all features of the app are available without restriction. No credit card is required to start the trial.

4.2 Subscription

After the free trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the app's features. The subscription includes:

  • Unlimited dogs
  • Unlimited careers
  • Training and competition logging
  • Statistics, graphs and progress tracking
  • Upload of result protocols and course maps
  • All training tools
  • Community features and leaderboards

4.3 After Trial Expiry

When the free trial ends without an active subscription, you will still be able to access your user settings, for example to manage your account or delete your account. Other areas and features of the app will be locked until you purchase a subscription.

4.4 Payment and Renewal

The subscription is billed monthly or annually according to the selected plan. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is made via App Store or Google Play.

4.5 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time via the settings in App Store or Google Play. Upon cancellation, you retain access to all features until the end of the paid period.

4.6 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their respective refund policies.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create and upload in the App, including text, images and results ("User Content").

5.2 License to Us

By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display and store such content for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

5.3 Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

5.4 Truthful Results

All training and competition results you record in the App must be truthful and accurate. Intentionally recording false or misleading results is a violation of these terms and may result in warning, restriction of features, or permanent suspension from the service.

6. Rules of Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes
  • Upload content that is offensive, abusive, threatening or harmful
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' accounts
  • Use automated systems to create false results or data
  • Manipulate leaderboards or other community functionality
  • Copy, modify or distribute the App or its content
  • Decompile, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the App in a way that could damage, disable or overload the service

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The App and all its content, features and design (excluding User Content) are owned by DogStreak or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. You may not use our trademarks without our written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure or available without interruption.

To the extent permitted by law, DogStreak is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the past 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to hold DogStreak harmless from all claims, losses, damages, liabilities and costs (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content or your breach of these Terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or upon suspicion of fraud or abuse. Upon suspension or termination, you will lose access to your account and all associated content.

11. Changes to the Service

We may at any time modify, update or discontinue the App or any of its features. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes in advance.

12. Third Party Services

The App may contain links to or integrations with third party services. We are not responsible for such services and your use of them is governed by their respective terms.

13. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through negotiation. If the parties cannot reach an agreement, the dispute shall be settled by Swedish courts.

14. Miscellaneous

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts shall continue to apply. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

15. AI Assistant (Hundcoachen)

15.1 About the Feature

The App includes an AI-powered chat assistant called "Hundcoachen" that helps you with questions about training, competition, rules and other topics related to dog sports. Hundcoachen is powered by a third-party AI service provider.

15.2 Scope

Hundcoachen is specialized in dog sports and is instructed to answer only questions within this domain. Questions outside the scope of dog sports may be declined or answered incompletely.

15.3 No Guarantees of Accuracy

Responses from Hundcoachen are generated automatically by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or outdated. The responses do not constitute professional advice and are not a substitute for consultation with a veterinarian, instructor, judge, club or other qualified person. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and apply the information, and you should always verify important information against official sources (such as the rulebooks of the relevant sport federations).

15.4 Saved History

Your conversations with Hundcoachen are saved so that you can view your own history in the App. Only you have access to your own conversations; other users cannot see them. See our Privacy Policy for more information about how your messages are processed and stored.

15.5 Reporting and Moderation

If you receive a response that you consider inaccurate, inappropriate or harmful, you can report it directly in the chat. Reported responses are immediately hidden from you and may be reviewed by us in order to improve the service and prevent misuse. We reserve the right to take action against accounts that repeatedly generate or attempt to elicit harmful content, including warnings, restriction of the AI feature, or suspension.

15.6 Prohibited Use

Hundcoachen has built-in safeguards to prevent inappropriate responses. You agree not to use Hundcoachen to:

  • Discuss topics unrelated to dog sports or attempt to bypass the assistant's topic restrictions
  • Generate illegal, harmful, hateful, sexual, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate content
  • Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak or bypass the safety controls built into the service, for example through prompt injection or hidden instructions
  • Request advice that violates the law, animal welfare regulations, or the rules of official dog sport organizations
  • Use automated tools, scripts or bots to submit messages or overload the service

15.7 Third-Party AI Provider (OpenAI)

In order to deliver Hundcoachen, we transmit your messages to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI is bound by agreements that restrict their use of your messages to providing the service on our behalf, and your messages are not used to train OpenAI's models. Nevertheless, do not send personal data or sensitive information that you do not wish to share.

15.8 Limitation of Liability for AI Responses

DogStreak is not responsible for decisions, actions or damages resulting from your reliance on responses from Hundcoachen. The feature is provided "as is" and may be modified, restricted or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

16. Location and Tracking Tool

The App includes a tracking tool that uses your device's location (GPS) so you can lay tracks and follow them together with your dog. Location is only accessed while you actively use this tool. See our Privacy Policy for details on how location data is processed.

You are responsible for using the tracking tool safely and lawfully, including following applicable local laws and access rights and obtaining any necessary permission from landowners before laying or following a track. GPS accuracy depends on your device and external conditions and cannot be guaranteed; you should not rely on it in situations where inaccuracy could cause harm.
